ummmm i have an obsession now with these little moving pictures. they can often show you, my readers, the exact emotion i was experiencing at the time it happened. except a lot more glam than i would look. so now you can forever expect to see them in my blogs. a lot. 

today's laugh! so cute! 

today i got my hair done. i got highlights and a trim. it's kinda different, but when I style it, i'll see if i like it or not. i ordered a fisheye lens and it came today. this was me and my sister...

 

then I did this all over the house! I was especially excited because i got a package. i never get packages cuz i'm broke and can't afford junk. this time i used my christmas money. 

my house has hardwood floors and i was wearing socks. i fell down. i wanted to do this....

but instead i got up and did a dance to seem like it didn't bother me. i have actually watched this movie a lot lately cuz hbo and showtime keep playing it and nothing else is on. it's lame really.

 i still need a job. so i tell myself this everyday! work out and job hunt. work out and job hunt....

 this week i watched the golden globes. ditch the speeches. just talk about who wins and who wore what. that's all that matters. i love Mila Kunis. drop dead sexy!

 

Well that's my day. ish. tomorrow i'll hang out and job hunt. watch good tv at night. then play this weekend. friday and saturday we are having a lock in for the teens at church and it's an all nighter...that might kill me. i'll need lots of espresso. 

Leaving for Vegas on monday. then one month til Phoenix. Yay for warm weather!

OHHH EMMM GEEEE!

This is a random blog of funny movements to explain briefly my story....

I hate making decisions. HATE IT! Even simple things like where to eat or what to do when I'm bored. Well, I made a big decision in like one day. Yup, it was crazy. So, I changed my major to sign language and I was super excited!

yup, basically like that! I had finally made a decision about something that I wanted to do and it was going to be fun. BUT then I found out that I would be in school for 4 MORE YEARS! Are you kidding me? That would be forever! It's basically because the classes are on a schedule where only certain classes are offered for fall and spring and not other times. So I was screwed. Yup, screwed in a terrible way ha. 

So here we are now. I have decided to go to EITC and get my dental assistant degree. I'll be done by the end of next summer. That sounds so much better to me! 

So now this is how I feel

 

 Basically things are going to be ok. Except I have to find a job. That is not exciting at all. So Now I just have to try to not do this in real life...

 

I just have to remember that life is going ok, and I have to just take the time to breathe and enjoy it

 

 And remember that I love cats but I'll never be this crazy...

 

 Well, now that I have spare time to kill, I'm gonna go watch Avatar for the tenth time.

OH, & the Arizona shootings were terrible and I pray that God will be with them and their families!

some thoughts about a few movies....

I consider myself an all-around “cultured” person. I enjoy a little of everything. I enjoy watching a lot of movies just to see them and know what’s out there. I usually enjoy movies that come from Sundance or other film festivals and that are not commonly known or didn’t make it to theatres. They usually have a certain trait to them that makes you want to watch them many times. One in particular is “Lars and the Real Girl.” If you have never seen that movie then I recommend you see it! Lately there have been many people posting about how great of a movie “Salt” was. I thought it was one of the worst movies ever. I enjoy Angelina Jolie and I think she has done great work. I enjoyed “The Changeling” and “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” and a few other oldies like “Tomb Raider” but Salt was just plain dumb. I suppose it’s typical that she happens to already be in the right place at the right time, and she knows all these typical ‘spy tricks’ and can do some kick ass karate. She can even jump from bridges onto moving trucks several times. She can move quietly and figure out ways to kill officers and to kill the Russian President without being caught until the job is done. Skipping all the crap in the middle, like the death of her husband but the saving of her dog, and going to the end when she suddenly escapes the hospital and makes it past all the security in the world and gets on a plane (even though she is a wanted suspect and probably had a warrant for her arrest) she makes it to Russia and sneaks up on the old teacher and kills him ironically the same way he killed her husband and then blows up the school. Well, where are the children? Did she blow them up too? What happens now? The ending was so dumb. If there is a sequel I think I may have to blow myself up. I am sorry all my friends on Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter, you have TERRIBLE taste in movies if you actually thought it was good. I tried to ignore most of the comments that people posted on Facebook and I actually only commented on a few but you just lost points in my book.

I would also like to say that I HATE this dumb religious state of Idaho and the stupid Mormons that control everything and take away things from people who aren’t Mormon. I have waited for a while to see “Black Swan,” the ballet movie with Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis. But it was originally going to have a NC-17 rating because it was that intense but they gave it a rating of R. Apparently this was too much for the Edwards Cinema here. They have chosen to not have it shown here. I am so disappointed. I love going to the cinema and watching new movies on the big screen. Sometimes it’s just not the same when you watch them on your TV at home. When Jackass 3d came out, they even printed tickets and advertised it as Jacka** yes, they used stars to blur out the word ass because it’s that offensive to them. Seriously, GROW UP! Ugh, these things push my buttons. I could go on about this town and how religion rules everything but I won’t. I could lose friends that way because they are too stubborn to hear other people’s views and to give other things a chance. But I suppose that’s what blogging is for. Next post….TV shows!

Changed my major!

I have changed my major officially! I am so excited! I am going to become a sign language interpreter! It's always been a thing I have enjoyed, and I've had deaf friends before. It's going to be challenging but exciting! I just wish my school offered the classes year round. I am going to have to wait til fall to take a lot of the classes cuz of their schedule that sucks but I guess it's worth the wait. Someday I will graduate. Someday.
I watched this video on youtube and laughed. It's cool that he signs, but watching him dance and his facial expressions is even better. Hopefully you find it entertaining. The song is annoying I know, but just pay attention to the dude.

I know it's not that exciting. but eh, it's ok.
I am a firm believer in not making resolutions. Nobody really ever keeps them, and I know I certainly don't either. All I can do is be myself and totally rock at life. I do always keep things in mind to do during the year and I usually achieve them if they are sensible and reasonable obviously. I am going to work out more this year, and to ensure that, I'm taking a yoga class and a jogging class. It will be awesome. I also am doing Tae Bo and TOTALLLY am going to stop drinking pop. Today was my last. Tomorrow I will start a 7 day fruit cleanse. Drinking only fruit and veggies for all meals and snacks for 7 days. Hopefully I lose 10 pounds! I could use it. And it's supposed to cleanse your body's needs for caffeine and junk food. So that's perfect!
I have enjoyed my break. Lots of relaxing and movies and a little reading and a few parties. oh, and skiing. Love love that!
I hope that this is a good year, and now I count down to Hawaii. Yes, 3 perfect months in paradise! The BEST! Maybe this time I'll stay for good??!!
